Thanks Martin - this is a great subject, though I can't say American politics brings any happiness in my life. I prefer the simpler things in life ..... like sunshine, rarely seen this week and hence the photo below taken this morning. Now we can really appreciate those autumn coloured leaves.

Right now it's howling outside - rain pouring down - and I'm sitting here warm and cosy, having a day off and enjoying a glass of wine reading the Forum - what more does one need ???  :D :D

Well, I'm pretty gosh darn happy.  I'm going on a road trip today to Edmonton, AB.  A mere 3 hours north, or 2.5 when I'm driving  ;D!  Only going till Wednesday morning but still a much needed get away for me.  Woo Hoo!

Having just spent 10 days touring the Peloponnese in temperatures of 28/30C you can guess I am happy.
