Hi all ,

My pollination ( selfed ) of my Hippestrelia was succsessfull - now I can offer seeds !
I dont know whats comes out from this seeds ....maybe a Hippestrelia ,maybe Spekelia,maybe Hippeastrum ....

Hans,

That is a particularly nice form too.  Some are more towards the Sprekelia parentage, whereas that one has lovely wide petals.  From memory from other lists the seed of these throws pretty much true.  It seems a real surprise to me, as I would have thought it "should" throw back to either parent, but at least someone has commented that theirs were all true.  It was a few years ago and I don't recall which gardening list it was on.... I filed it away mentally at the time as it was such a surprise.

I have a few Hippeastrum papilio seeds which might not live until the exchange, so PM me if you'd like them.
