Narcissus April 2020
« on: April 02, 2020, 05:29:07 AM »
Another autumn flowering cultivar, 'First Stanza' from Lawrence Trevanion, Canberra.
A cross between Narcissus elegans var fallax and the Tazetta 'Soleil d'Or'.
The first pics are of the original clump in the rock garden and the last two are of a single bulb I moved to a new bed a week or so ago
cheers

Anyone know what this tiny flowered Narcissus is? The flowers are no more than an inch across

Thanks. Bit odd as Minnow is not on the list of ones we planted this season and these are definitely ones we planted.

Here's the tazetta I got as seed from Betty Clark in NZ, Narcissus tazetta italicus, which last year was in flower in June/July!

Narcissus ‘White Marvel’, billed as a double form of 'Thalia' but not sure whether it is a sport of that?

The narcissus in the garden are mostly over but this pot of Narcissus jonquilla is still looking good.  Grown from seed a long time ago. There has always been a white stripe on the petals of some of the flowers.

Roma Fiddes, near Aberdeen in north East Scotland.
