A gentian and a scutellaria
« on: August 14, 2019, 11:42:55 PM »
I raised this gentian from seed collected in Betty Lowry's garden years ago.  This year's bloom was really nice.  The plant spreads out flat on the ground.

This scutellaria was came from a seed exchange as Scutellaria alpina.  Is that the correct name?

Thank you for your help.

Hi Claire,

The gentian looks like Gentiana septemfida to me. Not sure about the Scutellaria, sorry.
