Well done to everyone involved- and thanks to Stan for the photos. And what a good day you had, Stan! Many congratulations on your forrest medal, particilarly. I think it's the first time that the Tasmanian  Microcachrys tetragona has won the premier award. Very exciting!

 Lots of good plants on display - the Petrocosmea are almost as pretty a blue as the gentians - but oh!  those cakes!!

Yes, Maggi. It is indeed the first time that this antipodean podocarp has won this award. Unfortunately the image doesn't really show how incredibly well coned this plant was - maybe Stan can post a close-up image of part to illustrate this. Well done Stan!

The plant  is said to be dioecious   but this  one has lots  of male cones  as well as a few  red  female ones. It has done  this  over the  15 + plus  years  I've  had it.
