The highlight of the SRGC events calendar is nearly here! Just a few days before we all gather once again in the beautiful surrounds of the Grant Arms Hotel in Grantown-upon-Spey. Hopefully you all have a plant or two looking at its best just now that you can enter into the Show. Entries are encouraged from all - no matter how few or many, large or small - every entry contributes to the success of the show. We also have two photographic competitions - the Holiday Photographic Competition and the Reivers Trophy - so there is something for everyone.

Entries to me please on 07775 812036 or perth.show@fireflyuk.net
Late entries will be accepted up to an hour before judging commences
Staging: 3-5.30pm Friday 11th Oct & 8-9am Saturday 12th Oct
Show opens 11am Saturday 12 Oct
Show closes lunchtime Sunday 13 Oct

Still time for late entries, if you have some last-minute plants that have suddenly come into their own. Any exhibit is worth staging. Thank you all!

And if that doesn't do it, being jiggled about on the journey from York to Grantown probably will! But at least some have nice leaves.. ::) :-\

Some snaps of trophy winners. First Roma's C mirabile which  won both the Forrest medal and the Lever  trophy for best cyclamen. Then my 3 gentians which won the East Lothian trophy for 3 alpines and another  3 gentians which  won the Peel gentian trophy ( David Shaw had a merit certificate for  another G The Caley which  is behind  the front three). I also won the JL Mowat conifer trophy  for the little  Japanese larch and the Mary Bowe trophy for bringing most plants.
