Escape  is impossible. Only the regular  insertion of  cake may lessen  the urge to snap.

That’s what I thought. I was going to say I have a big mouth so could pop the whole cake in one mouthful but better not, nearly killed myself the other day chocked  and ended up in A&E . Still here to live another day and eat a few more cakes  ;D ;D.

Stan I see a little space in the car , can you squeeze something else in. Think we are low on plants , all my Cypripediums are over  :'(

Have a safe journey up.

Angie  :)

Another view of the Ramonda then David's  Saxifraga Snowcap which received  a merit certificate - this was the plant that won the top award at Glasgow two weeks previously but was still in very good condition. Ina Christie took the Craig  cup for Primula sieboldii and the Simpson salver for Rhododendron Sarled. Local stalwart Mike Hopkins received  a merit certificate for a vary floriferous Lewisia Joyce Halley.

Local grower Adrian Banks had the best plant in section  2 with a very good example of the slow growing Salix x Boydii. Your reporter retained the Walker of Portlethen trophy for most point in the open section and received  a merit certificate  for dwarf Rhododendron Glendoick Starburst . Nick Boss won the (travelling) Gothenburg trophy for a plant raised from seed with his Silene acaulis.

tour of benches. Some photos not sharp due to over reliance  on auto focus on my little bridge camera.

Nick Boss provided a magnifying glass  to let people see the tiny flowers on one of his exhibits.
