Madeira

we are leaving a week in Madeira in the month of April.
I wish to make several naturalistic hikes, to observe the plants especially.
What are the places not to be missed?

Lots of information/pictures have been built up on the Forum over the years, just search on Madeira and you will find.

Hi David,

I did a search using "Madeira" and did not come up with anything.  ???   :(

Maybe there is a way to refine the search?

I tried other topics with search with good results.

Ah!  I tried the search again with excellent results. Most likely a spelling error on my part.  :-[

Veronique, I have picked out this thread for you because in reply 10 there are listed some places you might like to visit, although you will find all of the thread interesting. As I said in my previous post if you do a Forum search on 'Madeira' you will find all manner of goodies related to Madeira

Mention of Finch and Madeira made me think of this http://www.srgc.net/forum/index.php?topic=6401.0, a blog by my friend, the late John Finch.
Almost in Scotland.
