french northern coasts
« on: June 24, 2018, 07:36:22 PM »
The snow level in the french alps was so high this year i've postpone several trips to early July.
Patiently waiting i've revisted several areas in my region. The weather is warm and dry until mid-may and plants are now suffering from the lack of water.
Here's a small selection of what i found during these walks.

Your travel restrictions are  benefiting us  in seeing your photos, Yann, thank you! Coastal areas can carry a more rich selection of plants than some  people realise, I think.

They host 70% of my region's flora. It's a mixture of very dry and wet soil, protected areas and super windy spots, so the diversity can explain the number of plants and insects.
