Placement at Schachen Alpine Garden
« on: March 23, 2018, 12:40:48 PM »
Members will be aware of the  Alpine Garden at Schachen, part of the  Munich Botanic Garden which is  associated for many of us with the horticulturist Jenny Wainwright-Klein.
The Merlin Trust [/url] has  announced  a  new  partnership with the Munich Bot. Gdn. to offer a  fully funded 1-3 week placement   per year for  one young horticulturist to work at the Schachen Garden.

Announcement January 2021

"It was a difficult decision but the Merlin Trust has decided to suspend all grants until September 2021. While we will review this decision throughout the year, we hope to open applications for UK-only travel in September - with new awards available."
