Two sets of excellent photos competed in the holiday photo competition won by Liam & Joan McCaughey who had visited the Gargano peninsula in Southern Italy to photograph the orchids while a very close runner up was David Livermore with photos taken in the Russian Caucasus. These few snaps do not do the originals justice but they were certainly appreciated over the weekend by the weekenders.
