I suppose they are all the same clone ....until now I had never fruits on them
...maybe are our bumble to lazy ?

Lovely display of R. bifida Hans.

Does anyone know what this Rhodophiala might be ?  It came from a pot I rescued after the death of Joy Hulme several years ago, and has never flowered for me before.  The label says Rhodophiala montana F&W 2194 7/87, but I thought R. montana was supposed to be yellow.  This one is shorter than R. bifida normally is for me, and paler and pinker.

Jon,
It looks to be Rhodolirium laetum (syn. Rhodophiala laeta). This species is from northern Chile, from the coast to 900m. Stems are 17-35cm tall.
In their recent book Hoffmann, Watson & Flores have split Rhodophiala into Myostemma and Rhodolirium. I'm not sure this change has been accepted as yet - my rhodophialas will stay as rhodophiala for now!
