Today we took the chance to visit this park, the weather was unusually warm
and sunny for this time of the year.

It is true that with this weather and no wind, the leaves still clinging to trees and the colors shine through sunlight.

I've heard from friends about this beautiful park - thank you for posting the pictures.
What a striking fastigiate evergreen - do you happen to know the species please?

Maggi, we think, that we must be grateful for such unexpected days.
Gabriela, there was no label at the fastigiate tree at 1050321, but I think,
that it is Sequoiadendron giganteum pendulum. The branches and needles were
like my Sequoiadendron giganteum.

Ah, thank you! I kept thinking at fastigiate cv. species I've seen in various gardens/parks and nothing seemed quite like it. Superbe silhouette :)
