Maggi, ignore the lack of beard, just compare the smiles in Luit's picture and in Armin's avatar.

I have just had Ian look at these photos, he had missed them before.... Hmm, he says, show me Armin's avatar.... yes, he says, this is Armin! Armin, Is this really true, you have taken off your beard.... and before Spring weather?? I am shocked!!  :o :o ;)

Yes, both men have great smiles... David, I take my hat off to you! I am very easily confused by a disguise, am I not?  :-[ :-[ Just as well Ian did not shave HIS beard off before he returned from New Zealand... I would have called the police! :-X

Maggi,
is it realy so shocking??? It's the truth.  ;D
The beard is cut off since a while and instead of glasses I'm using again contact lenses.
Evolution is changing always...
Best wishes

Maggi, in this Forum you may seem the ALL-KNOWING person, but you cannot beat
the gardener's hawkeye of David. David is has experience in seeing small
differences like pin and thrum...... ;D  ;D  ;D

But it still comes stronger: I was looking around for a man with beard and glasses and found
Armin, calling together by phone. ::) ::)
And while sitting at the coffee table Gerd and I and Armin were talking for about five minutes
about different things, Armin had to tell Gerd who he was.  ??? ???
And they had both talked by phone the evening before.... ;D ;D
Luit van Delft, right in the heart of the beautiful flowerbulb district, Noordwijkerhout, Holland.

Sadly Luit died on 14th October 2016 - happily we can still enjoy his posts to the Forum

Ah Armin, so that's you in picture 3 - so you washed your face????????

Arne, You have excellent taste in plants. That was a very good selection. I have an nice Anemone nemerosa you would like, so I will pass it on - I know you don't have it as it is an Irish cultivar and is not in the trade yet.

Good to see members having a good time.
