As Anne says, that is a very nice photo John.  It would be good to know your position too.

Anne & Brian

I have two gardens - one small one in Halifax and one on an a remote island off the southwestern coast of Nova Scotia near in Argyle near Yarmouth. It's considerably milder in the latter new one, planting rhododendrons and magnolias there - about 8.5 acres - a struggle fighting native vegetation.

Good to hear this is a performer for you.

I have 'Tubby Merlin' but it remains a singleton from the one I received last year.

adarby - That would be usual for most new snowdrops here. It takes about 3 years before 1 becomes 3-4. How fast do they usually bulk up with you?

I would say that the ones that remain single are the exception in my garden. I bought one Galanthus plicatus 'Trym' four years ago which became two flowering bulbs and a non-flowering one the following year. I have given at least three away (not this year) and now I have four flowering and one non-flowering bulb.

And that would be an exponential of...............?

Reminds me of the train leaving Glasgow at 100km/hr will meet the Edinburgh train at 80km/hr (with one stop along the way) where?

I'll work on it.

No need John. It's a trick question. They don't meet unless one is on the wrong track? ::)
