I visited Goldsborough a couple of seasons ago and it looked good then. I particularly appreciated the labelling of drops on the walk, tho' I did wonder if such helpfulness might ''cost'' them. I have heard that some open garden's have had to discontinue the practice.

Another Yorkshire place for snowdrops is Austwick Hall, where they include a few sculptures in the display. They haven't yet declared a 2016 date.

Maggi, you might want to add the RHS London "Early Spring Plant Fair" to the list; 16th & 17th February.  This is a popular event for galanthophiles and you will see many notables on the first day.
Almost in Scotland.

RHS Spring thing added.

Reminds me how irritating the RHS website is, the route to purchase tickets - which are only available to RHS members until  after 30th  November - doesn't bother to give any prices until one is well into the process.
Very annoying - there may be many folks who "don't need to ask the price" (remembering the old adage : " If you have to ask the price you can't afford it" ) but I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one who wants to see such details up front.  >:(

Just booked my tickets for the RHS London Early Spring Plant Fair, AKA The Spud Show for Feb 16 2016 - 10:00am...

Avon Bulbs will be attending as usual!

Hopefully a chance to get another look at 'Beluga', another stunner from Alan Street, tantalisingly shown last year  ;D

Good news, Avon Bulbs will also be attending the Norfolk Plant Heritage, Snowdrop Gala, Saturday 30th January 2016, East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall, NR20 3LR.

Another excellent reason for a visit  ;D

Details of Ashwood Nursery event on their web page here: https://www.ashwoodnurseries.com/events/snowdrop-lecture-feb2016/
I had to look up where they are - which is west of Birmingham between Kidderminster and Wolverhampton.
Almost in Scotland.

Hodsock Priory, near Worksop, Notts. Have open days when their snowdrops in the woods are in flower. There are usually plant stalls and refreshments as well. There is an entrance charge.

We will be open from daily Weds 10th Feb to Sunday 6th March 12-4pm, as always if anyone wants to visit at any time send me a pm.

Unlikely I will be attending any events next year other than a flying visit to Myddleton, for various reasons have decided to concentrate on maintaining what I have, which is already too much!  ;)
