Further to the comments about the Kendal Show I did not recognise the same show. My trip was 350 miles there and back. No problem parking. Plenty of room to circulate folk moved if you smiled. Show Sec and his helpers ran an excelent day in a venue not fully ideal but which show is. I fully intend to go next year.

Well done

There was also much fine artwork on display  which these snaps do not do justice to.

Now some views of the hall and show benches. Not as full as last year but still lots of interesting plants to look at - the number and quality of entries  into sections 2 and 3 was  particularly  impressive.

This year the popular mini gardens were divided into two section in the Open classes - one for a garden one for a landscape. The landscape class caters for the type of garden we have become used to seeing. The first two photos show Anne Vale's tiny garden with details of the planting. The third photo  is of the Open landscapes   and the last the Intermediate  section.

some photos taken wandering  round of plants that mostly didn't feature  among the trophy winners but were still well worth admiring.
