Leucojum aestivum is flowering in gardens near us just now, which would make it mid January in the UK.

A bit early, luckily i have found the first Acis ionica in bloom in Zakynthos earlier this week.
These measured 22cm tall.

Acis autumnalis var oporantha dispathacea was the gift when i entered in the greenhouse this morning.

Acis valentina blooming Sept 2, the flowers ae about 1 inches wide and the plants are about 1 foot+ tall.

Big difference in flowering time to here, in a pot. First flowers at end of July. Seed capsules now all shed, and the first sown fresh now has leaves 3-4 cms tall.
One of my favourite small bulbs.
