Fantastic, Tatsuo - oh, to be there with a full purse. I wonder how much the beautiful yellow was?

Thank you for the all comments :)

I didn't came home with any hepaticas this year. I don't have any hepaticas now. My place is rather hot for growing hepaticas :(

Fantastic, Tatsuo - oh, to be there with a full purse. I wonder how much the beautiful yellow was?

This yellow was labeled as JPY10,000-. I thought the price is rather inexpensive. The other yellows were not for sale.

Surrounds... ?  I can only see magnificent hepaticas  :o

Tatsou, thank you for the photos from the hepatica show.  The variation in hepatica flowers is amazing.

WOW what fantastic pictures of such a show the Hepaticas yes I would love them all but seeing the long numbers on the plants which were probably prices anyway Cyril and I visited John Massey at Ashwoods nurseries where we spent several hours in awe at his Hepatica collection his new lady assistant Samantha looked after us as well, a few pictures, we also had a quick walk round John's garden,  cheers Ian the Christie kind.

Thank you for showing Tatsuo.

I might have succumbed for that yellow.  Just as well these plants are not available here.

Ian thanks for sharing these photos of Ashwoods, i'm always surprised John put the pots directly on the cedar without protection such a tray. I own a greenhouse from the same manufacturer and i'll not be so reckless with the wood. How does he water the pots?

Hello, John spends hours with a slow running hose and lets water run around the rim avoiding plants if possible, this man is so dedicated to his plants and yes I would have an edge to the bench some hepaticas sit on saucers full of chippings other just on the wood,  cheers Ian the Christie kind
