Pollination ecology of autumn blooming Crocus
« on: December 30, 2014, 06:44:51 PM »
Travis asks :

Hi,

I was wondering if you knew someone who has studied fall blooming Crocus in their native habitats? I know that generally all Crocus suit a generalist pollination syndrome, but most advice on their attractiveness to pollinators is fairly anecdotal.

I am particularly interested in C. banaticus, but I find all fall bloomers interesting.

Thank you!
