exists somewhere an overview of the distinguishing features of Pulsatilla?
I get the easy apart not.

lapidary...no ;D  at least i never noticed an id-key overview for Pulsatilla.  e.g. here you can find some informations about 7 species from mongolia with herbar-material. for the rest you have to collect informations from every source you can find. the Pulsatilla alpina complex is well researched in zetsches dissertation (2004; german) "Die Phylogeographie des Artkomplexes Pulsatilla alpina (Ranunculaceae)"
