Crocus seed from a holiday in Austria
« on: July 22, 2014, 08:07:34 PM »
Hello dear crocus- friends.
I want to bridge the time with this short article.
At second july I started a holiday trip to Austria (near Zell am See).
I saw much nice plants like orchids.
On the way to home I stopped at "Birgkarhaus".
Months ago I found a photo at the internet from there with a nice crocus- meadow.
(link under the post)
I stopped at rain and searched for some seeds... many minutes I found nothing (the meadow was mowed).
But than I found some seeds.
Last days I sow some in my garden.
The rest (together with some kotschyanus seeds) I sended today to crocus group.
Who have interest...
Greetings Daniel

Kind of you to donate the seed Daniel. Good of you to think of the 'Croconuts' on your holiday.

I hope the crocus group does not break down.
And I hope I was able to make a small contribution to the preservation.
