The Spring Bulb Show 2014
"A great show full of good blooms and friendly folk"
The largest bulb show in the north-east of England is to be held on 5th/6th April at the Gateshead Leisure Centre, Alexandra Road, Gateshead NE8 4JA.
There are Open classes and members' classes.
Open classes are free to enter.
Members classes open to Rosecarpe members only but exhibitors may join the Society when entering exhibits (just £3 per annum, including year book)
Open classes; 41 classes for daffodils; 8 classes for tulips (Prizes vary between £15- £3 for 1st, £10-£2 for 2nd and £5-£1 for 3rd)
Members classes: 19 classes for daffodils, 1 for tulips, 1 for Hyacinth, 1 for Amaryllis and 1 for planters (£15-£3 for 1st, £10-£2 for 2nd and £5-£1 for 3rd)
Staging: noon to 1030pm on Friday 4th April
0700 to 1000am on Saturday 5th April
Show: noon to 1700 on Saturday 5th April
1000 to 1600 on Sunday 6th April
Admission is free.
Judge: Rae Beckwith
All entries are free and can be made at the time of staging.
