A New Gesneriad ?

<< < (2/2)

Afloden:
I do, but I am not at liberty to tell ;D You need a government permit to even access the area and a guide up the mountains to even get close to locating it. I don't think any of us had batteries with enough power for the GPS's at that point.

So far I have gotten a few experts to suggest Chirita which is what I keyed it out to. It is in the couplet that separates the asymmetric leaved species from the symmetric species. I am not sure if its the same species as the Chinese one. I forget at the moment what that sp. name was.

Sarmienta:
The gesneriad with the white markings could be a Chirita speciosa .  The first unkwown gesneriad .......were is it found?
