Post by: mark smyth on July 03, 2012, 09:41:06 PM
I now have two Dactylorhizas that have a lovely scent that is very similar to primroses or violets. Doesa nyone else have scented plants? What do yours smell of?

Several of my old Dactylorhiza maculata were very nicely scented, then the lurgi got them.
At present I have a couple of Dactylorhiza fuchsii with a liquorice scent.

I also have a Dactylorhiza that smells of liquorice. I think it's a hybrid.

I'll post a photo tomorrow. Sadly this is my last fresh spike for this year  :'( :'(
