Title: 2 members of Rubus (I think)

Might the second one be Rubus caesius ?

Post by: shelagh on June 14, 2012, 09:01:14 AM: The first was 3-4 ft and rather sprawling. The second was only about a foot and the only one we saw. I have struggled to find anything with a leaf shape like it.

Post by: Stephenb on June 14, 2012, 09:35:01 AM: I would say no. 1 was Rubus parviflorus - size and sprawliness fits too. I saw deliciosus in Gøteborg last year and that was more upright and taller. Here's a picture of both, the first from my garden:
