I foolishly trashed all my JJA seedlists years ago and have been kicking myself ever since. Today was another self-kicking day as Acis autumnalis JCA 630.201 is in flower but I don't have any information about it: neither site of collection, nor date, nor why it is worthy of merit. I do note that the flowers have no pink stain at the base of the petals.
If anyone has retained JJA seedlists from 20 years ago, please look up this collection number and divulge the details!
I checked the JJA website but it doesn't offer an index to collection numbers, alas!
PS: don't forget that it will be listed as Leucojum autumnale

Hi Rodger,
Not sure whether this has anything to do with the lettering, but JCA signifies James Archibald in the listing of plant collectors in the Plantfinder.

Rodger - it's not in any list from 1996 to present. I seem to have disposed of earlier ones.

And it's not in 1991 & later, either. (Thanks to Jane McGary for digging for it.)
Well, keep looking everyone. Somebody out there has to have retained these lists.
(It makes me feel less like an idiot for having tossed my own to hear that others have done the same.)

Hello Roger,
I have found the 1990- 1991 list, the details are :-
630.201 Leucojum autumnale Morocco, Middle Atlas Range, N of Ksar-el Ksiba. 1200m. S-facing limestone slope. ( 1989 seed ex hort John Blanchard- seems quite distinct from the preceding with pure-white bells. Both these are material coll. in 1982 under Archibald, Blanchard & Salmon numbers. not listed previously) (20+ seeds )B (£1.50)
