Hi Hans,
do you grow other Haemanthus as well? I grow H.albiflos and sanguineus and also the near related Scadoxus puniceus (syn. H natalensis). I am looking for seeds of the others but since the seeds are fleshy, they are only possible to store for a very short time  :(

Cheers

Hi Hans,
I have noticed you also grow Habranthus, are you interested in all bulbous Amaryllidaceae? I also have a lot of young plants and also some seed. I will compile a list of what I have and send it private to you!

Anthony, supposing I had the space, I have enough bother with the stink from Arum dioscorides outside by back door!  :P I would worry that the pong would kill little Lily, the newest member of the Young Clan, or she might fall into the flower and it devour her! :o

Anthony I only grow seed of plants whose website/URL I can remember off by heart! A chum in the North Island may want it though. He grows a lot of Amorphophallus species.

I am right now trying to germinate sedds from two Amorphophallus species, one Chinese and other from Madagascar. I do believe that the seeds needs to be fresh, my are probably to old :(
Perhaps now coming close to a famous Meconopsis thread, the name of this genus is quite descriptive ;)

I quite fancy growing one of the hardier species, but the Titan Arum would be too big and probably requires a lot of heat!

Hi all ,

I will not break here the rules of seed distribution  ;D - but I think it is better to distribute real fresh seeds .

I can offer now seeds of :

Helleborus viridis ex Lake Garda
Iris attica ( from different colors )

Everybody who is willing to swap some plants/seeds with me is invited to contact me privately

Greetings ::)
