Hi,
for more than 3 years now, I have been looking for seeds of Lilium henrici - unfortunately without success!
The only thing that I found out is, that there are at least 2 known cultures of this lily in Scotland (Edinburgh Botanic garden and at Keillour castle).
Does anyone know if and how and from where I could get the desired seeds?
Thanks in advance!

Erwin, have you tried all the places shown here?

Sorry I can't be more help than this!
Good luck with your search.

Yes, Maggie, I have - including exhaustive internet-searches via Google!
Chen Yi has Lilium henrici var. maculatum in her list, but it seems that the bulbs she is selling under this name are not real L. henrici var. maculatum.
So -to my knowledge- the only proven true L. henrici are the ones in Edinburgh and Keillour.
Does anyone know of any L. henrici elsewhere?

Mabye you could ask Harie de Vries.

Hello Rafa,
H. de Vries wrote me, that he has only taken photo of Lilium henrici once in the garden of Ron McBeath.
He unfortunately has no Lilium henrici in his garden. :(
