Nerine angulata has two flower stems this year!

I'm always surprised at what plants can do!
Here is what I call Nerine fothergilla 'Major' though it was "lumped" into N. sarnensis

Nerine rosea was also lumped into N. sarniensis - I refuse to acknowledge this!
Its cerise pink flowers are a real stand-out in the autumn garden,

This is a mystery nerine which came up in a shade bed, so not where I would've planned to plant it. It may've been a stray bulb that just got shoved in where I could!
It's obviously a hybrid and the mid-rib would indicate some Nerine pudica in its ancestry

Very pretty.

What I have seeding itself around is Nerine undulata.  It flowers at a different time from all my other nerines, so doesn't hybridize.

Nerine 'Ariel' is an old Nerine sarniensis hybrid

A seedling I raised from 'Ariel' probably with pollen from Nerine rosea back in 1999

The funny story is that I had 2 seedlings from 'Ariel' raised in 1999 the one above was labelled "Seedling #2" and I'm calling it 'Riversdale Red' but I never found "Seedling #1" until last week. Years ago I'd given what I thought was a pot of 'Ariel' to our friend Cathy and when we visited her she showed me a potful of what was obviously "Seedling #1"! It's a softer coral colour and so I've told her to re-name her pots 'Riversdale Coral'. She's sent me these pics with permission to post them on the Forum,

Thank you Ophrys. 
Unlike many nerines this one has been quite slow to reach flowering size or produce offsets, so perhaps my growing conditions need adjustment.
