Title: Growing Disporum longistylum from seed?

Been asked this by a friend. Anyone ever managed it and if so how. TIA.

I sowed D.longistylum from seed ex seeds January 2019. Soaked the seeds overnight, sowed, and kept the pot in warm for 7 weeks, then cold for 8 weeks and they germinated in the spring.
