My only bulb of Crinum yuccaeides bloomed a couple of days ago.
Crinum yuccaeides (Thompson) Herbert in the subgenus Stenaster or Crinum occurs in Cameroon. Similar to C. broussonetii, except the leaves are lanceolate (widest at the middle). Flowers similar to broussonetii, but 4 to 8 in the umbel. Grows on river banks. My bulb came from seed from I.B.S. and Herb Kelly, but the plants originally were collected by Dr. David Lehmiller.
Listed as "yuccioides" in Kew (https://wcsp.science.kew.org/ (https://wcsp.science.kew.org/)), I'm pretty sure that "yuccaeides" is merely an orthographic correction. (Also posted on my page in Facebook https://www.facebook.com/ShieldsGardens (https://www.facebook.com/ShieldsGardens) )

The flowers lasted barely 24 hours before wilting. They got away before I could even try to self-pollinate them.

Crinum flowers on my crinum usually also only last one day, with just an exception sometimes for C.Bulbispermum where they may last 2 days, and they turn from white to light pink on their second day.

My Crinum carlo-schmidtii (my #2110.A) has just bloomed; Crinum carlo-schmidtii is from Namibia. This one is a seedling from bulbs collected in the wild by Dave Lehmiller.

These flowers only lasted 24 hours or less.

My Crinum carolo-schmidtii is flowering too. Flower stem develops really quickly when it decides to get going - probably helped by the fact that it was 39 degrees in the glasshouse today. Nicely scented with a baby powder kind of fragrance.
