Does anyone know of a UK supplier of P. sonchifolia plants?

You might try Cluny Gardens.  They used to sell them.

I used to grow it years ago but a succession of wet winters with high temp in summer finished my stock off. I found it to be very susceptible to red spider mite even outside as well as the dreaded vine weevil. You could try and get in touch with Jim Jermyn at Branlkyn gardens Perth. He may know of someone who still has the plant. Another place that used to sell a collection number form SDR8331 was I think Edrom nurseries or Kevock (Can't remember exactly) Hope you have success tracking it down. If you find seed they are best sown fresh. They will germinate if dried but not as successful as fresh.
