In year 2012 I had the idea to make my own Haemanthus hybrid ( a cross between H.albiflos x H.coccineus ) – it is called Haemanthus X clarkei
This cross is made from other plant people too – there is a article :
Hybrids in Haemanthus and Scadoxus
(Amaryllidaceae)

Botany Department, RHS Garden, Wisley.
I have made this cross with my H.albiflos and with H.incarnatus ( a form of H.coccineues ) in year 2012 – sown September 2012
First flower now after 5 years

here are the parents :
H.albiflos ( received from a friend in year 1997 )
H.incarnatus ( a H.coccineus form )

here are the fruit of this cross
and the seeds
