Primula allionii 'Pfaffenteich'
Primula allionii RW1 (own seedling)

We don't grow many P allionii, this is our total collection but they make a nice splash of colour at this time. The one at front left is 'Diane'.
The large one was purchsaed from a plant stall many years ago and just keeps growing. It was labled Primula allionii but I suspect it is a clone rather than the species. It was not re-potted last year, so that is something to look forward to.

Some lovely little plants there, wherabouts do you grow? Primula allionii Chivalry was originally raised by an English grower, David Hadfield, and is a plant from his 'Medieval' series, P.allionii Crusader is another. Your own seedlings are very nice, especially Elke Weiss, and I particularly like Ute.

Nice plants David. I have only recently cracked keeping Primula allionii from growing season to growing season, previously I used to kill them inbetween! You have done very well with your large one to get it to that size.

telephone, so I could not write before.
We live in a rather mild region near Stuttgart in Southern Germany near a wine-growing region
and many alpines like it ,except plants from higher elevations.
