Title: Ostrowskia magnifica
Post by: Steve Garvie on June 14, 2016, 08:22:56 PM
Ostrowskia magnifica -The first time I have flowered this plant. It is currently growing in a large pot in the alpine house as it needs a dry summer. If it gets any bigger it will need a greenhouse of its own! ;)

What a magnificent plant and photographed - as always - superbly. I do hope you are carefully hand-pollinating and that the seed exchange may eventually benefit. ;D. Thanks for these. The exquisite veining is shown so beautifully.

Same plant 1 year on. More growths, more flowers. I've tried pollinating it but I only have a single plant and I'm not sure if it is self-fertile.
