Thanks for the report. How many plants at the show?
For those interested http://www.auriculas.org.uk/local_groups.htm (http://www.auriculas.org.uk/local_groups.htm) here are the contact details of the North East Group of the NA&PS.

I've moved the thread to the Primula section, to be sure the "fans" find it.
I don't think I've seen 'Hardwick' before - I like it very much.
Another note of the reformed Scottish Society :
The Scottish Auricula and Primula Society has been resurrected :

Web Site is in it's early stages of development, further details obtainable from the Secretary, Dr Alison Goldie (of Angus Plants) at

Frazier,
There were fewer entries than I thought there might be. A rough estimate would be maybe 150 or so. Judging took forever... Very different to our shows, for sure. They have mention on their web site that the Scottish group is to be resurrected and the two chaps I met at Harrogate Flower Show also mentioned it to me. Managed to get a few little gems to bring home too. I may join come Jan...
