Title: question to Romneya coulteri
Post by: Hans J on March 01, 2014, 03:59:39 PM
Hi all ,

today by working in the garden I saw that my Romneya coulteri has still  green stems and leaves ...very unusual for me .
In the last normal ( cold ) winters the stems was always frozen and lay down on the ground ...so it was clear to cut it in spring

Now my question ;
Should I cut the stems ?
Or wait until came new shoots ?

Thank you for any advices from people who have expierience with this plant
Hans

Hans I have the same issue here. I will wait till the threat of really cold weather is over and trim selectively.
