Title: Is this Saxifraga cortusifolia 'rubra'?
Post by: Corrado & Rina on May 01, 2013, 10:23:22 PM
It was bought as S. cortusifolia 'rubra' (that is Saxifraga serotina Sipliv.) .... is this the correct identification?

PS: The pot at the back is Gentiana lutea :-)

Just found this - no , this is not a form of S. cortusifolia,  that would be in the Section irregulares - (often Autumn flowering)this is a "simple" and very pretty "mossy" type.
