HELP!

This came to me as Albuca inermis, but that cannot be found anywhere! Does anyone have a name for it? Johnnyd

Without dimesnions and a flower...........
My guess - A. polyphylla. Maximum bulb dimensions maybe 15mm diameter and 15mm long, but retains lots of tunics.
A winter-grower but just about stays evergreen. It flowers late spring.
Very tall flowering spike, for the size of bulb, and a gorgeous scent.
Offsets freely.
If it is A. p., keep totally dry late April to August in the UK/Europe.

It gets various names, inc. A. sp. Namibia.

Unlikely to be hardy, 5C minimum probably, to be safe.

just checking online, supposedly A. p. is native to eastern RSA, which would make it a summer-grower............ which online suggests is the case.
I have three potfuls here that do fine as winter-growers.

When yours flowers, if you want to try getting seed (some sources suggest that it is not self-fertile), it is moderately complicated due to flower shape - it is designed for an insect to pry apart the central "cone" of the flower - details can be found online by searching "albuca fertilisation/pollination".
