Anyone recognise the plant in the picture which appeared amongst my collection of Artemisias. It seems to be an umbellifer, but what?
I've planted several Lomatiums from North America in the last couple of years. Could it be one of them?

It is Sphenosciadium capitellatum ( Ranger's Buttons ), occuring mostly in the Sierras in California. I have grown this plant a few years ago, and it is quite decorative in a moist location.

Many thanks Paul!! I was in the Sierras in 2001 and collected seed of a few species so that must be how this plant arrived in my garden....
