A natural hybrid between C. sylvatica and C. triplicata. Most characters intermediate between these parents. Roots 3-4 mm in diam. Flowers usually white, tinged with purple, rarely light purple or purple, often turning dull orange in age; midlobe of lip 2-lobulate to clawed reniform, retuse; spur 24-32 mm long.

I thought maybe being from Taiwan it might not be to hardy, but these height localities are not so very low as to suggest being too tender..... can't say I'd risk it though!!
