I have seen that programme but never watched it, will have to take a look the next time. Glad to hear that you are allowed chocolate. When I go over to visit my friends in America my suitcase is full of biscuits ( jaffa cakes ) and chocolate if only I could take plants back.

I'll look for your programme Lesley, I'm pretty sure we get it one one of our hundreds of channels.  What a shame you can't have trilliums though, they are such beautiful plants, but there must be good reason I'm sure.  While a civil servant (a misnomer if ever there was one lol) I had occasion to work at Customs and became familiar with CITES then.  Press calls to show what had been stopped at our very permissive borders were enough to curl one's hair!

We can have Trilliums Chris. We just can't smuggle them in teddy bears and hollowed-out books. ;D Seed is very possible and plants too provided we go through the VERY expensive quarantine regime.

We are really looking forward to meet you all  :)

That's good news Christina. I hope the people organizing the Conference put out a complete list of everyone attending, so we know who to look for and say "Hello" to. :D

I'm sure that Jiri and the Gang will have lists of all delegates for us when we get there, Lesley.
I think we will all be delighted to see how many folks we "recognise" from these pages!

There are still places available for the conference, I understand - so if anyone has been "thinking about it" - now would be a good time to get organised with a booking..... 8)

Hejsan Christina, you are very welcomed. So far 6 people from Sweden including yourself and your husband. We have still sufficient capacity, but I suppose many people left registration till the end of your. I am especially pleased we have 11 people from NZ and Australia, as there is seldom opportunity to meet these people :D  Looking forward to see you here.

Jiri how many people registered so far, and any other people from Canada going that you know of.
Which gardens are we visiting, is there a list yet. Maybe I'm getting a little prematurely excited.

Arie, from Canada very low presence so far  :(, apart from you only Grahame Ware. We are currently below 100 registrations, but I expect increase in December due to price change on 1st of January. We are working on final list of gardens, for sure there will be also new private gardens, never shown before like M. Brejnik or my new garden. I will put here some pictures later on, I promise  ;D

Here is one of the gardens for Post Conference program . It is new garden of Martin Brejnik built gradually during last few years. Even not completed yet, it is in my opinion outstanding rockwork. Pictures are from September, so good reason to come and  see it in flowers in May.

Very nice to see, all these marvellous crevice gardens. But to make something like that, you need a large amount of rocks (and money, depending on where you live).
If I would have made my big rock garden like the way crevice gardens are built, it would have been, I think, three times smaller.

I'm planning to make, in near future, a 'real crevice garden', but it will only be a small one ..... ;)

Cant wait to see these crevice gardens in the flesh. My big worry is all the ideas that we will be coming home with.
Looking forward to meet up with everyone.
