Gothenberg
« on: October 05, 2024, 10:15:27 AM »
My wife has agreed I can plan a trip to Gothenberg botanical garden in the 2nd week in April 2025.
Has anyone got any recommendations for traveling to/staying in gothenburg and maybe other places to visit that are in the same region.

There's a web page for all the open gardens of Sweden, use the "map view" and Google Translate: https://svensktradgard.se/besokstradgardar/?pageindex=1

Pick a hotel near a tram stop, and get the app "ToGo/Västtrafik" for tickets, or optionally buy the 24/72h tickets:

Ian has enjoyed several trips to Gothenberg and has usually stayed at the Hotel Flora - not expensive and good value all round.
You'll have a wonderful visit - I'm green with envy!
Margaret Young in Aberdeen, North East Scotland Zone 7 -ish!
