New vendor
« on: March 25, 2016, 09:34:59 AM »
Hi all,

Found this online, and just wondering whether anybody has any experience with them? It's a great list, but I've not come across them before.

Thanks for any contributions!

Hallo Alex,
yes, I know this shop and ordered there some times. I was always satisfied and can recommend it. AFAIK this shop already exists for some years.

Yes, I spotted some of those! That's a large part of the reason that i asked about them here actually - using other peoples' pictures uncredited does cast a few doubts in my mind.

I recently decided to restart my collection after I lost almost everything this winter due to a flying greenhouse, and since it was too late to order from Ian or Maren and considering I never had bad surprises with this site's cyps, I ordered 2 pleiones from there and what I received did not meet my expectations : the aurita is NOT flowering size, neither is the so called "formosanum" alba
makes you wonder about all the others...
I'm not really enclined to order more from there to see if any is true to type (by the way,  last time I checked, Pln reichenbachiana was just a potential sub-type of praecox, not a species, and not everyone even agree on its existence ... )

hey guys,
as far as I determined, this is a "well known person",
longtime in "business" on different "ebay names".

my personal experience in the last years was not so good.

he "took over" a well known nursery,
but he himself seems not to be a nursery man.

What I received in the last years was not the best qualitiy.
he always offers rare plants , which NOBODY offers in the marked.
this might be a chance, but THINK ABOUT IT...........
so , it is just a "tag" on the plant, BUT just a try,
SO, DONT BE DISAPPOINTED.............

cheers

Maybe there's something good about this picture stealing: The vendors who do so are generally not thustworthy. So if you recognise a picture and know it is taken by somebody else, it is probably not showing the plant he is trying to sell to you adn you should keep calm and move on.
