This is an area of waste land which I suppose would be officially classified as Brown Field. it's about 300 metres from Site 2. Plants here are Dactylorhiza and Ophrys apifera.
The site is not managed so we appear to have lost an area where 3 years ago there were massive clumps ( 20+ plants of the same clone) to long thick grass.
Compared to last year however, the Dactylorhiza do appear to be increasing again to former numbers.
