This is very nice and I wonder if could be a clone of Yunnanensis .
What is the shape of the bulb and the flower size ?

Hi there!
The flower size is 6 by 10 cm.
Bulb quite round about 4 cm at it's base, 4 cm high. Smaller at the top.
Does it make sense?

Eric and Guus - The yunnanensis has every time got five strong lamellae on a lip. On close-up are see four lamellae and short one on the top. Also the flower size is too big for yunnanensis. So I think that is a nice pale form of P. x barbarae.

Yes, flower size alone rules out Yunnanensis, without the rather large bulb ! which is the reason I asked for them.
Still, this is a very nice Pleione which I would be pleased to have in my collection.
Thanks for sharing your photos.

Eric

I think it is a typical x barbarae.
