Lithuanian Rare bulb - Bondarenko
« on: November 27, 2020, 11:48:28 AM »
Hi,
Does anyone have anynews about Leonid Bondarenko of Lithuanian Rare bulb garden (http://litbulbgarden.com/) ?
I submitted an order in the beginning of september and didn't have any news since that time. I paid with Paypal and the money has been transfered...I sent him 2 mails but no answer.
The website has several years and I was reading its catalogue regularly but it's the first time that I order and I fell a bit disappointed now  :-\
If someone know how to contact him, PM mail  ;)
Thanks for any help

Hello Yvain, I also ordered from Leonid Bondarenko the first time this year. The first package he sent out never arrived, but he sent me an email asking if I had already got it, and since I didn't, he sent out a second package. The quality of the bulbs was fantastic and I will definately order again next year. He was very quick to respond so I don't know what happened with your order. Just wanted to say how smooth things went for me

I have ordered from him many times and all well, but I think the order must be made in spring or early summer, because he sends the bulbs in August.

I ordered from him in the Spring. He was having problems with payments through his online shop but all of my order arrived safely in the late Summer. Quality bulbs supplied as always.

Thanks all for your replies. Did he use an other mail than litbulbgarden@litbulbgarden.com ?
I may have order a bit late (september 3rd) but the shop was still open. And I can accept to receive my bulb in mid-2021, i just would like to have an answer...

Yes, that’s the only email he has ever used with me.

I tried to place an order at the beginning of September and struggled with the website so emailed him 7/9/20 and second time did get the response;

Sorry is too late. All these plants was in my offer this year and sure will be in offer 2021. So next year welcome.

Best wishes
Leonid

I placed two orders in early summer as I forgot to order some in my first order. I have got the second order in the beginning of September but the first one never arrived. First he told me that it was sent, but later that it wasn't.
I have asked him to pay the money back but I have not heard anything from him since October.

Thank you Stefan, at least, I'm not alone with no answer. I hope that I will not have to use the Paypal dispute resolution process...   :-\

Remember there is a time-limit on making Paypal claims. I would start the process now.
When you start a claim Paypal alert the seller -often this is enough to bring about an acceptable response.

I know that Leonid was having problems with payment on his webshop so there is probably a reasonable explanation for your problems.

As I received no parcel from Leonid after ordering and paying in August, I sent a mail to him and got today the answer that he had fallen ill and had to stop business for a while. He asked for excuse and is going to send the money back.
