Hypertufa troughs iin America in the 1970s
« on: October 23, 2023, 04:56:41 PM »
The Club has received photos of  hypertufa troughs by Ellie Brinckerhoff  in the USA- these were taken by  Bill Gordon  who writes " They were taken in a nursery in Connecticut about 50 years ago. I thought they were very artistic and Ellie passed away, so there are probably very few photos of them on the web. I thought some people interested in trough design might be interested."

Ellie is also remembered by a saxifraga named for her by Linc Foster in 1970 - Saxifraga ’Ellie Brinckerhoff’
 (S.x hornibrookii     HL Foster 1970)
This photo  of that saxifrage is by Jan Tholhuisjen  -

 The photos from Bill....
