Early Bulb Day - Dunblane - 16th February 2019 is shaping up to be the usual day of fun and fine plants. Two talks are planned - by Ian Young in the morning and by Ian Christie in the afternoon.
Also a display of plants from members - and sales too!
Extra special this year will be an auction of paintings by the late Lawrence Greenwood, donated to be sold for SRGC funds by Fred and the late Alice Hunt. Learn more about the paintings here :

All welcome!!

Some of the plants coming from Ardfearn Nursery (near Inverness) with Ali and Sarah to the SRGC Event tomorrow - the photos I've chosen concentrate on those plants with great foliage ........ but around 140 different alpines are being brought down to Dunblane from Ardfearn!!
Cemisia hectori
Ilex crenata Golden Gem
Leucogenes grandiceps
Sedum spathulifolium Capo Blanco

At the end of January, they had snow at Rumbling Bridge - who shared this photo of Erica carnea 'Challenger' looking good even then!
Graeme and Hilary say ....
"Looking forward to attending SRGC Early Bulb Display on Saturday 16 February, at Victoria Hall, Dunblane."
